Hi Guys,
These are the pics from an Off-Road Driving School in Scotland (just outside Edinburgh), which me and my friend visited.
We had such a ball! Check out what all we did!
going downhill! to exactly understand the gradient, check out the angle of the jeep against the trees.

Stream Crossing

Uphill! again check against the trees which are at 90 degrees!

thats me on 3 wheels. as soon as the instructor got out of the fron tpassenger seat, the car started rocking on 2 wheels (only front left and rear right were touching the ground)

same position from back:

Great pics Sawan!

You really seem to have all the luck when it comes to fun car stuff!!
Love the last 2 pics!

Did the school use only Vauxhalls?
Once i accidentally got a jeep stuck in a huge hole (as big as the full jeep..you could say it was a rather shallow well)..loong story.. but anyway it wasnt too far off the main road and a bus full of tourists was going past, so they stopped and we actually lifted the jeep out of the hole and placed in on the road! ..was just reminded of that..thought i would share!

hi rehaan - this school is owned by a guy called Ronnie Dale. He is one of the best guys in the UK. Won **** load of awards and also featured on tv shows.
he doesn't use only vauxhalls. this was the second day of the school. the first day - we were driving land rover discovery's. he also has range rovers. basically his school is affiliated to Land Rover as well as Vauxhall in the UK. Anybody who buys any of these vehicles is entitled to a free full day course. of course he only teaches the basics to them. the guys who pay for the course get the whole deal!for more info - log onto www.ronniedale4x4.co.uk

Hey Sawan,

We got two things in common now, Lancer-love and a passion for off-roading. I have covered more than 2000 kms in the last 8 years off the road, and can tell you that rural India has a lot of challenge to offer to 4x4 enthusiasts. My daily driver is a Mahindra CJ3B, which I restored and souped up very recently. Has not got stuck even once to-date, though I have taken her in very very extreme conditions!

Thats really some great pictures, Drop a PM if you are coming down to Bombay. We can do some healthy off-roading in the outskirts of Bbay.

Hey Sawan great off roading pics dude. Its nice to note there are so many good schools like these who offer off road training. Is that a Vauxhall Frontera youre using... How many days course was it and what are the costs. I seriously feel Mahindra should start schools liuke these in India apart from the Great Escape . It sould be great fun a a new learning experience. Btw do they have any Defenders in the Land Rover fleet.. thats one of my favourites

Cheers

it was a 2 day course that i chose. there are courses which last longer. more info on www.ronniedale4x4.co.uk. i dont remember how much it cost though. sorry!
i dont remember if he had defenders. dont think so! not too sure though. if u're planning to go to the UK and do this course, you can send him an email and check. he is an extremely friendly fella. he wont mind answering ur queries on email.

Notice the taillights of the Frontera and the indian Tavera. Do you see any similarity in design language?
