May I suggest you start a thread detailing how it all began and how you "developed" your machine, and a thread relating to your offroad adventures. Its should make for some awesome reading/viewing. Thanks for sharing and all the best

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | The picture that shows you camping is worth a million bucks! As also the rock climbing ones. You should honestly consider importing this Jeep. Who drives it when you are at this end of the planet?

| BHPian | Gaurav, This is an awesome ride you have and quite apt list of mods that you have done there. I just wish that these options for mods were available here... Congrats on completing the Rubicon -- I never thought that anyone here would have done the rubicon :-) As GTO said, do consider importing this to India.

![]() Few questions Gaurav: With the locker, do you feel problems in highway driving/turning? I have been thinking of importing Detroit/Ez Lockers and one confusion for me is the highway driving/turning issues reported by these lockers. Did you consider ARB Lockers?

Ideally you should use them only to get out of a tricky situation and then turn them off. You'll grind your diff to bits if you use it on road not to mention the bind in the system making it almost impossible to turn

I know that DKG; that's why I asked this question about Detroit Lockers. My impression on reading about after market Detroit/Ez Lockers was that there is no option to 'manually turn on/off' the diff locks. All the diagrams/pictures indicated that these were permanently 'on'. I may be wrong here, that's why I am asking for feedback from to Gaurav . Do these lockers provide 'manual on/off' feature?
