hi pals,
finally i brought the vehicle out of garage by last week.took a test drive for 350kms with tank filled up,the drive was completely "rough and rash driving" ,random gearing, screwed a lot.i was able to reach 120kmph.the engine response was awesome and the gear ratios are also excellent.with complete rough driving i was able to achieve an average of 11kmpl.as for now iam able to get 12-14kmpl with an optimum speed of 80-90kmph.i have uploaded few pics of the modification with mapping.please check it.
cheers,
ashwinraj

ashvar87 - excellent work. looks very professional and well carried out. Why dint you go for 1.3 mpfi engine as well. Would have saved you all this trouble and also given you a more powerful and more efficient engine.

cheers

i really had a plan to swap my stock engine with 1.3mpfi but suddenly my stock engine gave off its breath.since i use my baby for daily commuting i had to overhaul it for the sake of time, meanwhile i got a 5-speed GB and i proceeded with this project.iam really happy with the performance and milage.but i have a firm idea to go in for a 1.6mpfi baleno engine very soon.

Default Reading material on SPOA for a Gypsy

I have lots of reading material on SPOA for a Gypsy with detailed instructions etc for getting it done. I know that there are SPOA kits available from $500 onwards in US. The challenge is how to get these here.

Let me know if you need the reading material and I will zip it and send it across to you by email.

Hello Khan_sultan,
I am a newbie so bear with me please.....
Yes, I am interested in the above mod...and I would really appreciate if you can take the trouble of sending the reading material to me.
BTW....I missed your thorough bred zuk...
Please send me whatever reading material you may have on this particular modification. Thanks....
You can write to me at dr.ericdsouza@gmail.com
