Did you ever thought of removing the front turn indicators from the mud guards and relocate them to the space under main headlights?

Just my 2 Cents thought. To me the body line will look nice and clear, besides there is an option provided under the headlights just to mount smaller parking lights/turn lights, why not use it?

Since you are still at body work, this might be a good time to plug the holes if you decide to move them.

That one is a CJ7. When CJ7 converted into Wrangler YJ in 1987 it remain in the same old place but when Wrangler TJ launched in 1995 the indicator lights moved on to Fenders and remain.

Salikt: Right, that is a Cj7. New Wranglers had embeded lights in the fenders(with a nice flush and seemless look), however, I doubt if the new wranglers has lights on fender. Please check Jeeps website at your convenience.

I've heard of this gentleman - his workmanship is legendary, even more so when one considers the basic infrastructure he works with.

This is the first time I'm seeing his garage, though - I've always wondered where this place was (was confused between Kolenchery near Cochin and Kozhenchery down south).

His work on the Standard 2000 (diesel) gave him a whole bunch of customers from Cochin, one of whom was a seafood exporter family friend of ours who was eternally thankful to this chap for getting him out of 3-4 kmpl setup ("I can finally travel to Trivandrum without planning for fuel stops on the way - I know every petrol station on that route by name now").

Yeah i guess its the same guy we are talking about. Sadly he is stopping/retireing from his works this year.

Some more updates. Paint job completed.Upholstery work completed.
Silencer work yet to be completed, steering & console to be fitted, dashboard & gear console to be fitted, indicators to be fitted.

MM540 rebirth is just a few weeks away.

After putting the jali in front of the grill, how you will open the bonnet. I guess, this jali should have a cut to push the lever to open the bonnet.
