GRV.

Try to go to one of the larger MASS centers which have techs trained for the Vitara. This is actually one of the problems with buying a premium car from a mass market manufacturer. Their service techs end up having experience only on the mass market models and I suspect your's is the first front diff that tech has ever seen given that gypsies are very rare. I suggest find a good independent workshop that deals with Imports and get a second opinion.

Diffs get cracked when you do boulder bashing etc. Unless you have done some serious rock crawling which has resulted in the diff damage, it is very unlikely that the diff is broker.

Hi SS

Thanks a lot for your help. Today I got my car back. They have changed the seal and the seal coupler.

Let me drive the car for a weak under different conditions (high speed, HL, LL) and then report the performance

Thanks

Weakly??? No GRV try with all the might and vigour

Hope your problems get sorted out. This is a heads up for me also to try using 4HL and 4LL and see if there are any issues.

Curious as to where you had to use 4HL / 4LL on a Nanital trip??

That's exactly the question I asked him first! I think I'll let GRV answer this himself...

Let me clarify. I also went to a place near Sattal. The Place is called Suryagaon and there is some real estate development happening there. The last 2 Kms to the location is gravel and dirt road with steep incline and it is here that HL and LL was used briefly.
