Talking Shortened Armada Grand

idea of shortening a armada grand' length of the body & chassis corrected to 540 0r cj7 wheelbase

1; engine; scorpio 2.6 noncrde

2; gb; ngt530 4wd with manual shift

3; ngcs chassis, ps, ac

4; front open knuckle pickup diff

5; 32 inch tyres in 15 rimz

this will b my daily ride & long drive otrs;

experts pls input ur valuable suggessions'

@Sumesh, looks like it is going to be an intresting project.

But suggest you post sufficient material in each post, instead of a single image and not much related description. It will give us all some material to read and discuss. thanks ..

Seems like a very interesting project is coming up. I always liked the front part of the armada grand, looks very masculine. With a shortened chassis is will look great.

With a specialist mechanic all your requirements can be met. Best of luck for your project Do keep posting the updates.

I presume you would be shortening the chassis by cutting it across the middle and re-engineering a lot other stuff. Do post the details. This is going to be an interesting thread.

More snaps of the chassis & the rear tub. Closely watch, the rear tub is pushed forward to minimize the overhang of the grand.

Where is this Armada being done? Great combination you are working on in terms of the engine, tranny etc.

i think in kerala.

the project is under hands of manzoor c, he is on facebook too.

BTW he is also modding following vehicles.
  • a cj5 on armada grand NGCS chassis (shortened)
  • mm540 pick up
