Super cool!

Isnt one of the pic from the lot a PS job? Was it used to see how the jeep would come out with the lights. I liked the mirror in that one, which vehicles part is that? Hummer SUTs??

The black "Jeep" is nothing but BRILLIANT !! Kudos to whosoever made that happen. Which sets me thinking, one could actually do a similar thing on the Thar - right ? With a hardtop as an option.

Thanks for posting this Parm !!

Cheers

Thanks jeepster, for the pics
Absolutely droolworthy mods, hats off to the person who conceptualised and implemented this beauty! I dont know if to start with the fogs, the set of wheels, the tints, everything just seems so perfect. I guess I will just go back to looking at the pics

There's a MM540 converted into Ruibicon. All technical details in the threads mentioned below. One thing is for sure, Indian's have a finesse in making incredible good things out of junk. Kudos to Prabhu, Ravveendrra, Suren, Nazim and Arun for making this amazing piece.

Salam to Abdul Salam

The rubicon look on Armada has come out very well, the only place it kinda gets to you is the front wheel arch extends beyound the bonnet and front grill as well and is a bit too large to fit properly.

It does look as well it uses some orginal Jeep parts from one of their models.

Looks pretty good. Except that they should lose the Nascar decal. Further, the matt finish of the fender and the metallic finish of the bonnet is a bit contrasting at some angles. Just my opinion. Maybe the colour of the fender should have been a little more darker to exude a gun metal finish.

Wow! Abdul Salaam!

A very beautiful job executed on the Armada.

The fender extensions are Wrangler accessories, seems they are imported for this project and not fabricated here, they look good and more muscular than the one on the original Wrangler Rubicon below.

This photo attached is to show how the Armada/ Rubicon would look without doors if it has a similar roll bar as it has been fabricated on the same lines.

Wow - This thread is turning out to be a eyecather. Even here in pune I have seen a rubicon replica in the making, spoke to the owner who said he shall share the details after the build is complete. As of date it is exactly the same as the pic posted by travelohlic. Engine toyota 2C, no 4wd. He plans to build another one with the same body line with a 4 wheel drive .

Hope to seen that baby in action. (Sorry no pics, just words)

i always wondered how to make a bolero into a better performing vehicle on some what similar lines as that of a Unlimited.

now when i saw this photo of the black jeep, i thought some one has already done it to his Bolero, that why the title....(since its an armada...hence the new title).

anyway im more encouraged to see Bolero on similar lines as this armada.

i hope this Armada inspires more people to go for a 'change'!

Can't stop gaping at the Black Jeep. I am quite inspired to have a brand new Thar sent to the gentleman to modify if he does it on a professional basis. Or else try doing it here if I find someone who is willing to gaurantee the outcome.

Does anyone have his contact number please ?

Cheers

I think Bolero in itself was an amazing vehicle, with lots possible and amazing mods. Even without any mods Bolero looks perhaps one of the best beasty vehicles around.

I wonder why Mahindra stopped production of Bolero Invader. A CRDe invader would have been a delight, infact much better than the "THAR".

The fully open rubicon with just roll over bars is a dream, superb so is someone making a thar into this anytime soon, droolworthy to say the least. Somehow feels that the Thar would need an extention in the suspension to be the right size. Am sure this one will inspire someone soon.

Its the charm, size and pure masculinity accentuated with the over-sized fenders and 4-door retention that's making this Armada stand out.

The front and rear bumpers along with the spare-wheel setup and best part is the carbon fibre finish @ rear. Door handles also seem to be imported. Neat Tailpipe even. Lovely use of matt and gloss as well.

True, [personal opinion follows..] considering what they turned out to be the 'Bolero'
This is one company in dire need of a qualified design team (especially one that appreciates & understands vehicle aesthetics) - and I don't think Ssangyong's design team will help either [take a look at the Korando or the Rodius ]

But this is all
