What's in the Thar now.
1. Front & Rear Light Grills - Standard OEM
2. Front Bull Bar - Standard OEM
3. Fog Lamps - These are a pair of DLAA 4x4 that I already owned. So they went in easy. May exchange them for Hella's later.
Hi Myk.b,

You are true Thar crazy man Awesome accessories you have there. The refrigeration is very nice, can you share a company and price please.

Thanks,
Vishal.

Hi Myk.b,
I think i've seen this car of yours somewhere.
Is it parked at Campus when you bring it to office?
If yes, it explains where i've seen your car
If not, there is one more in my office which looks exactly like yours.
Cheers,
Deepak

You got me there, Deepak. Thats what I meant by its increasingly becoming my daily ride.

well, thats a perspective. Quite a bit of the stuff I put in is a reuse of things I already owned. No harm throwing in a few creature comforts in the only department where the Thar lacks. Although I am no expert, I am thrilled every time I take it out for a spin. The feel is great.

I am quite a bit of a traveler doing about 35-40k kms per year including short weekend breaks, longer ones. I like to explore relatively lesser known locations down in the south, in the ghats etc. and there have been many times I felt the need for a robust 4x4 vehicle.
The Laura has been my main workhorse the past few years and the ride is great. But I hate to put it through some of the terrains that I end up in knowingly or unknowingly. It hurts, plain and simple. It still is a darling.

For me, the Thar offers a perfect platform. Its a good trade off between what I need for a good holiday with the family and roughing it out with the boys at other times. Dump in a few bicycles, some outdoor gear in the back and I am ready to go.

Myk

Great way to accessorize once car Myk.b!

My accessory todo list just went up after seeing yours

I was actually searching for info on TCOP and realized not much info on the forum and finally good to see someone on the forum with one installed in their car.

How is this working out for you, is it really worth it in terms of functionality & realiability?
