Did some testing for body lift. Worked fine, need half a inch more may be but will trim the front fenders instead... Already it feels like a tempo to get inside!

Found a new issue, brake line @ front!! will be fixed soon.

Santosh, the work lamps in the front are of Hella? Where did you buy this from? I was also thinking of adding the same.

What are your plans with the tyres? if you are carrying your family and driving longer trips i would suggest you get rid of those worn out sand grips.

Rebelt them to the elusive MT pattern rebelt that is yet to hit kalasipalya market... long drives not as of now, max I do is hosur-blore at 60-65Kph... don't know the future of my job location in next few months, so still undecided on investment in tyres.

Yes, Its on Attibele Sarjapur road, called bidariguppe lake bed.

I had done a body/tub lift to get more clearances for larger tyres, it paid off, but need a bit more, hence need to trim the front fenders a bit.

Got a 7" LCD for kid to njoy cartoons and stop getting cranky!

PS - Also can add a camera in case of blind spots on OTRs - thats the idea.

google for worldtech DVD788, got it for 3000Rs Net from Mulund, Mumbai.

http://en.carvisual.worldtechelectro...ft-sid939.aspx

Kid broke the stock plastic stick on stand in 1st day!! 1 BIG WHACK!

So went for a wooden enclosure with acrylic sheet to protect the lcd from front...

Good ICE to have on any car, can take USB direct, Aux Video in from HU, powers from 12V socket, has Aux out for audio on 4 speakers, built in tiny speakers in rear not enough, TV antenna on top, I discarded it, and also has 2nd AV in for Camera.

Had a nice revelation today...

Got my AG when she was 150,000Kms old, changed oil after driving from chennai @ 150,500~Kms.

Today, at 156,000Kms got a BARDHAL engine flush (380Rs) (Idle for 15 mins) and refilled new oil... Idling doubled, nearly tripled if I can exaggerate a bit...

Breaking our heads, me and mechanic finally had a good laugh after we agreed so much of sludge and slurry came out of a factory sealed engine...!!

---------this means, as timed moved on since every service from purchase, owner must have complained about idling-stall, or low power-pick up and the FIP was constantly over turned to compensate for all the muck inside engine------

PS - what ever return combusion was present @ 1.5L kms, is VERY HARDLY noticeable now after the flush job, which only makes me happy if I can avoid a engine job...

ALL JEEPERS - TRY a flush job once a year at least...

---We finally adjusted the FIP idling down and after some TD I am happy with the SUPER increase in pickup and power delivery...

Some morning fun...

I didnt know until I saw the pic the AG's front right wheel was 1 foot in air , thanks to the spotter-cum-rocker-pusher Arun, else I would have been towed out!

I agree with DB, my Armada variant needs the fan belt to be changed mandatorily every 5000 kms, otherwise the fellow gives up while running. I use B38 "Fenner" brand. very reputed.

Default Snorkel

Mohang_J fabricated a SS snorkel at his home-workshop for my AG. Got the bonnet hole done at my local tinker, head from prev CJ. Kept the height low for a change, didnt like or feel the need for the roofline head.

So finally got it done?
Change the rubber tube in the first bend also to SS.

Looks like the head is slightly looking towards one side. May be photography effect.
