I would suggest coral rust, try if you can get a non metallic. Here is a reference for you and this has been there on CJ2A.

Vinod Ji,
I have one GPW with mentioned color, its a evergreen color and specially on GPW and MB it looks good. Looking for a color which i have never tried on Jeeps (It gives you feel of NEW). This reminds me to convince you to bring few more color options in Thar. I really love metallic brown and Orange color Thar which i saw in Jan. they look awesome !

Thakur Saheb,
Please convince me more , i am now inclining towards this color but non matt. My painter is not well versed with Matt paints :(
Planning to send my CJ5 to BHopal for matt paint.....

Dear Shubhendraji - I would seriously look at the Tata Ace Cream and Tata 407 light green. Besides being non-metallic, having easy availability with correct computerized mix, it will give the period look also. You are going to live my dream (CJ3BLHD) very shortly, hence I have suggested what I like, finally it is your decision. Vinod's choice is also good.

Best regards,

Banna,
Couldn't find a close enough shade in Matt but I like Matt or over-the-top glossy in the same shade. An interesting on that I found though was this one:
Link

But definitely Coral Rust is the way to go...
PS. Send the CJ5 to Ahmedabad. Will take good care of it

Cheers,
Adi

Thakur Saheb,
That merc's paint quality is tooooo good. Even if i get 30% of that, i will be happy.
CJ5 is in pieces scattered across places (body and chassis is at Allahabad, Engine at bhopal, GB, transfercase etc at Poona, few tit bits at hometown). collecting all at home now.
Visit Nagod in winter, we will have good time doing offroading, camping, night drive etc....

Dhanya bhag hamaare ho aap hain padhaare.....
When are we meeting sir? wanted to show another mix and match 3B which i am working on (in Wakad) and my classic (in Wakad). and take your opinion on both......
Are you talking about color in below pic or darker than this?

Barn find 1959 Willys CJ3B-215041_10151294039897453_452180425_n.jpg

Somehow i am not convinced to go for light shade color. As I am inclined towards dark color and off white rims combo. Please suggest me something in little dark color, plz.
And i value your suggestion......

Shubhendra Sir: coral rust with cream rims. Will go well with your light GPW.

Dear Shubhendraji - dhanya to hum hain, because "tussi great ho ji", you are going to actually live my dream, which is to one day own a CJ3BLHD, so "tohfu kabool karo"! Hum to bahut chhote hain, bus gaadiyon mein interest zaroorat se kuch zyada hi hai, ab kya karein, ho hai woh hai! Please keep the Jeep appearance original. Don't go overboard on seats, roll over bars etc, then the whole thing loses its timeless charm. I hope the F4134 is running like a dream. I have the original workshop manual with me, I can give you the tappet and timing specifications any time.

I work in Pune only, let's catch up some time in the next week. Is this garage after the Chinchwad bridge on the way to Dande Chowk on the left side of the road? I see quite a few Jeeps there, hence wondered!

Yes, the color on the bullet is exactly what I like. In my opinion, wheel rims and windshield frame must be black to match with the chassis black. The vehicle will look very nice in very dark grey non-metallic color, understated and very purposeful. The grey must be dark, please remember. The nearest color is on some i10s but I prefer still darker.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Behramji - This vehicle and the garage is MP.

The garage the you are referring is where Subhen is working on another Jeep. That is mix and Match CJ.

Saar Shuben is having a Jeep year ahead, two jeep - two different locations - two of its class
