It is Hyderabad HT.

Sent the money to Prabhu through online transfer. It was crated and shipped.

The idea was not just install it for myself but to benefit the Thar community. A technician was called from Hyderabad to fit it and teach five people here at RR Auto which is the Mahindra ASC in Gurgaon.

Total price Rs. 95,000 inclusve of tax, shipping and sending Prabhus ace denter to fit it here. An additional Rs. 5000 was paid for it.

But it doesnt work just that way. Prabhu spent rs 7000 for sending his man by a HYD - DEL flight. I purchased his return ticket to send him on to Valsad, Gujrat to send him on to fit another couple of hard tops.

Since it was to benefit all off roaders neither said anything to each other about the costs. THe technician stayed overnight in my farmhouse and woke to the call of peacocks!

This has self opening top panels so queston of fitting a luggage rack does not arrive.

It is ceramic ( liquid metal technology ) sandwitched between layers of FRP.

What's the benefit / significance of the steel cable connecting the fender with the top of the windshield, I've seen it on a couple of Thar's and have always wondered with regard to its functionality. Thanks!

Hi Sir,

wanted to follow up, how has been your experience with the HT from Hyderabad. I am scouting the market for HT's and this particular one is on my shortlist.

You are one of the few people who has it installed and can give a fair feedback.

Look forward to hearing from you.

regards

Kundan

Dear Kundan
My experience with the Hardtop is totally satisfactory. It is doing its job perfectly what it was purchased for.
No problems, no leaks nothing.

The powder paints coating from the handles peels off at times but who cares its only a Thar.
Prabhu has done a good job overall.
Best regards,
Shahid

Thanks for your reply.

I am in Delhi from 1st Feb, would it be possible to come see your vehicle and meet you. Would help me finalizing my hardtop.

Thanks again
