It is nice to have the PS hidden. The Koyo unit sticks out like a tumor. Thankfully the original Bolero unit has a low profile and stays inline with the chasis.
I have not cut the chassis but infact will be adding a piece at the front. Accordingly the hood and fenders would be extended.

Cheers !!!!!!

Woow !!!! Thats a great rebuild going on there. Just reading the thread is giving me ideas of getting a MM540 or 550. Those alloys & rims are an absolute treat for the eyes. Also your Mamaji's garage is really spic & span, looks real good. Lucky you man..

Cheers!!!

Randeep - your jeep is looking like a monster already. The tyres give it a very muscular look. Looking forward to seeing the body fabrication! What colour have you chosen and what seats?

Cheers

Hey Randeep04, thats a neat ride you got there. She seems to be shaping up well and I like all the goodies you have in store!
A question and a suggestion, what color are you going to choose for this beast? In case you retain the army greens i would strongly recommend retaining the number 3 and the tiger/leopard (?) badge as it is. it would go a long way in maintaining the character of the vehicle and would reflect its lineage too!
let me know what you think about it!!

Default Wrangler or CJ7

My Jeeps bonnet is going to be fabricated on the same lines as this wrangler. I dont know what model it is but I guess its around 88-90 model.

Cheers !!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Randeep,

Thats a CJ7 not a wrangler.

The CJ7 was introduced in 1976.

Wranglers were introduced in 1986-87 With Square Headlights YJ Series.

Hi Pradster,

I would be going in for a shade in blue. I have shortlisted 3 shades and will maybe finalize it this coming weekend.

As for the tiger badge goes, firstly we cannot use these on civilian vehicles and secondly it would not go with my concept of the wrangler jeep. The number three I shall have for sure.

Cheers and thanks for your inputs.

Randeep,
Like many on the forum I too am looking forward to see the end result of your Jeep. Since you have the concept planned , it is coming out very well and I am sure the final outcome will be outstanding. There are pipe frame doors which are covered with srf, which also go well on a 540, your doors are coming out fine too. How much and where did you source the alloys for?
All the best, eagerly awaiting more pics.

@Arka / Fazal

Thanks Arka for clarifying the same as I too could not locate a similar model in the Wrangler series. But the vehicle that I'm trying to replicate is a 1987-88 Wrangler and is from the Jeep magazine that mentions the same as a Wrangler. But I know it would not exactly be a look alike and will have similarities of the M&M too.
But I just hope it comes out well.

Fazal the Alloys are from "HR" and they cost me 5k a piece.

Cheers !!!!!!!!!

Great looking Jeep in the making!

The rims and the tires are awesome!

Yeah, me too have heard that such details like the Tiger badge is not allowed. You can get in to some serious trouble, if what I know is right.

Randeep,
First time I liked alloys on a Jeep, and the tyres too look good, the overall effect will be dramatic, much more than now.
