what a crappy taste!! this is a CL/CJ340 (SWB jeep) and is probably fitted with a different engine (toyota, isuzu) and the 4WD option is removed. OR this maybe a late Cj3B (mahindra) with CL340 fenders. i may be wrong though.

This looks like a CJ340. Curious, how do you know the engine has been swapped?

Not that Bad after all, yeah everyone has their own tastes :-) that ammo box on fender looks puny though. But why do i think that 4WD is not removed. Look at this picture. But where is Ram? (Ram Laxman is the desi acronym for those two extra levers )

Thanks

Sorry, didn't understand the CRAPPY part. Are you averse to white color?
You can't have all the Jeeps in this world in military green / sand color!
That JEEP looks nice IMO.

Tastes differ, my friend.

Latest soft-road expedition pics of my Jeep.. For those who do not know it is a '95 model CL340, I have modified the fenders so that it don't spash water onto the jeep, rest everything is original.

You will come accross one more name is Dabwadi Jeeps and there are some common characterstics of the Jeeps built at these two places...

1. Normally no 4x4. For Jeepers no 4x4 means no Jeep.
2. They normally fit Toyoto 2C engines.
3. They normally have too much sticker all around. Normally "4x4", "Toyota" etc etc.
4. The built quality is very bad.
5. Paint job look nice but it will not long last.

Apart from the above, pls also note that Mayapuri is in Delhi (very close to Delhi Cant railway st.) and it is a damn good place for Jeep parts. Also this is a perfect place to procure military disposal vehicles. Having said so, Jeeps those are built there are not good but for Jeep parts/engine/army auctioned vehicle, that is the best place in India.

Dabwadi and Moga are in Punjab and they mainly source parts from Mayapuri and built show off jeep with fat tyres.

I love the shade of the soft top. Was considering the same shade for my Jeep.
