This Jeep must be from the time when they still used swords in the war, say circa 18th century. The occupants jump out and pull out the sword from the bumper. Good idea, it would be hard to sit inside the Jeep wearing the sword.
whats the tool box/ammo box doing on the front bumper? crash guard?

Default Pictures of MM 550 jeep

Hi,

these are some pictures of my MM 550. These pictures were taken at home and are shot from pretty close distance. I liked the pictures other bhpians had taken of their jeeps on offraod tracks. Hope to do that soon. Until then take a look at these.

Dear Amit,
Why have you removed your front differential?
You have to get it back on your Jeep to go offroading.
Did you buy it as a 4X2 or you've got it removed?

@AmitKhatana - Nice looking jeep you got there. IMO the hood scoops put the jeep off, they are spoiling the whole look. like wise for the rope near the roof.

Did you buy the jeep like this or did you restore it?

@Harjeev - Nice to see that Ranger is in action.

Is it just me or is it actually that after the front grill after the repainting and does not match the rest of the jeep.

You had the power steering holes plugged and the grill repainted at SK's workshop right?

hey amit. your 550 looks cool.

Can you please share which alloys are these? Are they of the jeep pcd (139.7) or have you used spacers? 15 or 16 inches?
Would appreceate you sharing the info here.

Cheers
Nishanth

Hi al,l thanks for appreciating my jeep. Its a MM550 XD 2000 model, army disposal purchased in 2006. I have purchased it from someone and made some minor modifications. The Army sticker was already there when I purchased it , I am not in the Army. Unfortunately it is not 4x4

Dear Hgnishanth, the alloys are HRS ( Hijoin ) 139.7 PCD. These are 15" as you all know it is almost impossible to find 16" alloys in 139.7 PCD. I didnt have to use any spacers or anything. The alloys and the tires working pefectly and I am not having any trouble.

Hi,

The jeep is not 4x4 and the sticker was already there when I purchased it. So was the Indian Army sticker. I am not in Army. Yes it is an Army disposal jeep.

Default Mm550

Here are some 'updated' pics. Essentially all the extra baggage from the rear has been stripped out.

Mods still pending are :
(a) Roll bar,
(b) 2 seater front facing rear seat,
(c) tail lights to be mounted on the body (Mandeep - i'm still waiting for the brackets!).
