Testdrive; what size are those tyres? The rim looks a tad less wide for them.

Tyre size is 255/65R16 on the original army mm550 rims. I know the rims are not wide enough, so there is a bit of ballooning. But so far so good...

Infact i know someone who is using even a wider size on the same rim.

Hi Guys.Got to ride in my friends uncles jeep today.after the drive i have been bitten by the jeep bug.I dunno much about jeeps but i m trying to learn.Could you guys tell me more details of this jeep.even my friend doesnt have much idea about this vehicle.He said it s a 1955 model.

Arjun , Thanks a lot for sharing the photos of your Jeep , These were indeed the kind of photos I've been waiting for, need to borrow ideas from the master. Again I have to say its the Best Jeep - hands down . Allan left no stone unturned with this one. You should make an expedition on this one to the North-east and particularly to Shillong . It would surely drop a lot of jaws

Hi
This is my CJ 340 1990 . bought it last jan and did it up from scratch(except for the engine).installed a PTO along with a manuel winch, new seats, new disc brakes in front, power brakes ,etc.

@ Tejas -- > Great pics. my 2cents - remove the 2 ORVM's for any OTR, They are far too rare to be replaced...

Those mirrors area safely stored in a swiss bank vault.

A friend's uncle who used to own a classic had a pair lying with him and he gave it to me. I just have the mirrors. Not the full assembly.
