Hi Chanu,

The jeep is looking killer man, the colour is amazing, i think the first page of this thread has a 540/550 with the same colur. BTW, i am on lookout for Rhino hook for quite a long time now, not able to find one and here is your jeep with 2 Rhino Hooks Installed, could you let me know, where did you buy it from?

Thank you Spike arrestor, pulsarmaniac, Desmosedici, 4X4 cruiser for the wonderful comments. The colour was the result of a tough selection initally we have decided to go for olive green, background colour was also painted but later we have decided to have this shade and removed the background and then painted this new shade. Final touch up, polishing is due which would happen once the rains are done.

4X4 cruiser the Rhino hooks were already there when I brought the jeep but I was told they rare to find now-a-days but will try for you in case you require.

For more information on my jeep you can check the following thread.

Chanu, Thats a job very well done and your involvement from the start to finish shows in the end product. The color is unique and suits your Jeep so well. The wiper motor is fitted upside down, the electrician will tell you that the windshield will not swing up if you fit it that way, don't bother. Present position will obstruct your vision directly. Hope to see it soon in person. Regards,

Thankyou very much Fazal saab. Its a proud moment for me to have an icon like you appreciating my efforts, Honestly I learnt and still learning from the gurus like you, Behram sir, DKG and many other enthusiasts.

I will definately bring the wiper motor aspect to the electrician and also ask him to place it as per you advice and unfortunately the wiper motor never worked after coming home.

I will be honoured to have you in person to witness my jeep, let me know as I would be there in Bahadurpura this monday again.

I guess this thread is good with pictures, gurus please do visit my thread and comment.

Jassy,
Your jeep looks good and rugged with those tyres, suits it.
Also rest of the proportions turned out good.

Jassi, I'm sorry but I don't agree to that on 3 aspects..the omni tail lamps, the rear bumper and the spare wheel carrier. Sorry mate. just my views.

Default Tortured Jeeps

Some of the nasty things people do to a jeep. (Out of necessity, and sometimes out of fun or for a kick !)

Also, being a newbie, I don't know if some of these like the blue (really) long wheel base were made by Mahindra or they came under the knife.
