Since the jonga is not in a drivable condition yet, I guess I might have to make a trip to Jabalpur.
do let me know if you'll ever find anything for a Jonga.

Cheers..
Prasad

Picked up a very good condition mpfi Gypsy and an equally excellent 550 from Pune recently.
Watch out for the restoration threads (or shall I say ownership threads as there is hardly anything to restore) soon.

Any idea what is a GAZ KAPSO ?
2 of these are in an upcoming auction :
Auction No MSTC/ERO/AIR FORCE STATION, KALAIKUNDA/2/KALAIKUNDA/10-11/2674[29503]
Opening Date & Time 08-09-2010::11:00:00

Here I agree with David. thats why I also asked same question that how come an ownership thread from you and not from Sanjay? Talked to Sanjay and then got the entire idea. Same David is also mentioning here.

I think its not fair on real owners part that you are posting pics and mentioning to start the ownership thread.Thats why I mentioned that its unfortunate that Sanjay is still waiting to get his TB ID approval.

let my cruiser be fixed then we all will catch up,
yes, let sanjay do the talking and let him sort things out with dr gosh.iam sure they will settle this small issue without affecting their relationships and friendship. Life is too short guys to worry about small issues.
I have a place in thane we can have a jeepers meet with all the mumbai guys with their jeeps . it will be fun . Ample parking space dont worry.

Hi Rahul,

Sanjay is really helpful.

Great Idea of meeting !!! Let me know I will definitely try to come.

Thanks for the wish- I am getting the delivery tommorow. I fully inspected the car before sigining the RTO papers today. The PDI XLS sheet from TBHP PDI thread was really helpful.

Hi Dr. Abheek,

Most tier-I metros such as Pune allow for registration of BS-IV vehicles only. So how would one register a BS-II Mahindra jeep that one buys at an army auction?

Thanks and regards,

One can't. If you have a house in a non-metro area, you'll have to provide that to get your vehicle registered. Or just find a tout who'll make up fictitious papers for you.

Damn. I guess then people like me just have to wait for the Thar... any info on when it arrives? I keep hearing conflicting stuff. And the Mahindra showrooms around here just try to shove a scorpio or bolero under your nose.
