jkdas-sorry for the late reply,the ride quality is slightly better than the mm540 i had used before,but definitely better than a gypsy.

I've been trying for weeks to get information on the Bolero Camper 4x4. I want to buy this vehicle within the next couple of months. Does anyone here know if it is still in production? Whether it can be registered privately? I live near Chennai and any information would be great. Thanks

It's still available up here in H.P....so says my dealer today, Sept. 6, 2011.

Here you can get it with private reg. dunno about Chennai. But confirm it for yourself, dealer's info is often wrong.

@Laskhman:

It is available, but engine is BSIII and cannot be registered in Chennai. Your best bet is to find a rural dealer in Vellore or Tindivanam etc..

You cannot get private registration for the 4x4 version. It will be commercial with yellow paint in front and back.

You will also need a badge to drive it.

I'm not so sure if it's worth all the trouble. Thanks for the information. I just learnt from the same dealer that the Bolero Invader has also been pulled out of production. I guess i shouldn't have waited so long.

lakshman1645- i went against the r .t.o of calicut with a case in high court on 2009 and won it, so in kerala getting a camper registerd in white board is not an issue. you want any details i have the court order copies with me which i can mail it to you , please pm me for details.
