Well, Gypsy wouldn't have caused that problem I suppose.

BTW, are you bothered about the Swift/SX4 quality interior as some say? What about the Swift steering wheel they have plonked?

Congrats Yogesh! I am glad to know that everybody is happy at your home with this vehicle. I am sure it'll make you happy on your next NIOC meet (Of course, you need to temporarily erase your CL340 memories before you go there )
Cheers,
Deepak

Looks like your wife already got her daily drive AT car. Will you be soon starting a new what car thread for your daily car?

BTW, the GV steep climb video I showed before could belong to a GV with a more powerful engine, a 2.4L or DDiS engine. It is a video from Europe. The white one in the animation video is mine.

Yogesh,
Congratulations on your purchase!! Now you can be sure that your wife will not mind travelling NCR and back with you to off road which possibly she wouldnt have done in a CL340.

Now enjoy the ride driven by your wife

Congratulations! Yogesh and happy drive. You asked for it, that your wife doesn't allow you to drive it.

Congratulations yogesh, enjoy the ride, the GV is one good machine and reliable, but if i was in your place i would have gone for the older generation v6 for lesser money and used the rest of the budget on fuel...but that is me,its nice to see a GV getting ready for some hardcore offroading soon.

regards

mandeep

Probably OT but How exactly would this be calculated? Am a bit dense about this. Experts please help! Is it just your max engine torque multiplied by the 4L ratio?
So for my Safari TCIC would it be 190NM*2.7 = 513NM???

Step - 1 Taller tires with more teeth (MTs)
Step - 2 Modify bumpers (FRP) to allow better climb and departure angles.
Step - 3 Skid plates (Lighter aluminum ones to ensure it does'nt add too much weight)
Step - 4 Winch (Standard)
Step - 5 Look at a lift kit (At least 3-4 inches over and above stock spec.)

The above will ensure your GV does 110 % of all that the Jeeps do

What is 2.7? Is that the low ratio? I didn't know TCIC came with 4WD.
