Zorro - thanks for your comments.

The Black colour was a factory option when we purchased the vehicle back in 1997.

I am not sure if it is allowed to post picture of someone else Gypsy, as the thread says Maruti Gypsy owners /pics. I am still posting a picture because I feel every Gypsy owner should see this one.

Your reviews & thoughts are welcome; I have started another thread about my Gypsy king. I would upload more pictures & details about the work done on this Gypsy.

That was the last thing missing in your gypsy when i used to see the OTR pics, now you might be getting tempted to go for next OTR

Tyres/alloys have changed the complete look of the Gypsy, now it looks a killer.

Hi Starter
The gypsy performed wonderfully well & I think that the earlier issue of the throttle was because of the Catalyst converter. I have come to this conclusion as at a recent OTR (before th Desert Storm) I hit the silencer on something and the exhaust note changed slightly. But since that time the throttle issue is not there and I am not complaining!!!
Drove the vehicle for 3200 kms and was good fun!
Pictures & Videos are on their way soon!!

Thanks Amar & Deepak!

I am going for the OTR on the 27th to try them out. Will start a thread about my search for non-directional "old school" Mud Terrain tyres and what I had to do to get them fitted cuz they are after all 235/75!

Amar - There was a time when I wanted sooo much to buy your red gypsy! It was the best resoration job I have seen!!

Cheers
Ankit

Harjeev,

Waiting for pics and video's of desert storm. Please free up some time to post them soon.

Do you need to engage Gypsy in 4WD during the rally or it's easily done in 2WD.

Ankit,

Even i miss my Gypsy. Would love to meet you in person whenever i am in india.

As per my introduction I have just started blogging; however I have been reading about your wonderful rides. I just bought Amarveer's (amar82) Red Gypsy King, hope to make it better by efforts & your support.
