Dear Jeepster - your comment on date of introduction of box chassis is incorrect. The first 10 vehicles were made and sold in December 1997 in Nasik plant. I started the project and worked on it. This is just for your information.

Hi swastikviji,

The Jonga's are coming along really well!!

I've been looking really hard for a set of wider rims for my RCL Jonga but can find them at all.. I'm currently using stick rims 16 x 5.5J shod with Goodyear G90.

Are you able to share more details on where you are getting your rims and the size as well??

Prasad

Hi Viji,
Your Jonga is coming up great. How did you use the Wurth product? Should both be used one after other or mixed? Can you please share the cost too?

Hi Madhu,
One is body Sealant, and the other is under body protection covering material.

I have driven these beasts and it was sheer pleasure. The vehicle is a great cruiser and off roader as well. My memories go back when we were feasting on them in deserts of Rajasthan twenty years back.

Like any big boys, it guzzles petrol and it is one of the reasons why Army finally disbanded it.

Happy to see you guys owning it. Enjoy the ride!!

It is a kind of rubberized paint which also dampens sound to an extent. It is effective, as seen on the Hyderabad Rubicon replica. It is value for money and WURTH the price.
