A worn out 'O' ring is sufficient to keep you going around in circles. I repeat again that it is better to stick to OE system.

How many times in a OTR do you go through water crossing that submerge the axles? Even if you do that 20 times each OTR, there are other tricks to dry the system.

Have seen many mods that are "mods" and nothing more - No performance gain

This is news to me, first time somebody is advising againt disc brake in comparison to drum brakes Anyways not all mods are for performance, some are for reliability, some are for longevity, some are for ease of maintenance and some are plain common sense (that is using better technology that is available out there).

Anyway for me long way to go.

Why dont you 1st try a 2-3K mod which is sort of OE, than such a super mod like disk-firewall-booster brakes!!!

Get the larger Dia front drums with dual brake cyl's and just see the diff, drive my jeep if you want to be convinced.

No Gogi, no snorkel till i sort out the water proofing of points and wiring. And why dont you look at Tejas's design on his old Classic for ideas?

How can a person be happy and sad at the same time? Well happy since DwArF has moved on to a new owner, a well deserved and caring owner who is from the offroad fraternity. Happy coz he is still inside BODA family. Happy coz i can hand twist the new owner anyday to take DwArF for a spin

Sad since whatever said and done, i somehow had some weird attachment with DwArF. Maybe because everyday when i wake up and go down stairs, its usually DwArF i see first, through that window. He has been a faithful companion in whatever little offroad we did together. Can kick some serious butt with his stock demeanor and used to give me a grin.

Well life goes on.......

Congratz Swastikviji! Enjoy the DwArF!

That sure is a situation, that needs to be dealt with. It was wonderful reading and learning from your thread on Dwarf. I am sure, the new owner, being a jeep lover himself, would take real good care.

What next? Gypsy?

So whats next Jaggu? How about the Mahindra THAR? I hear it rocks and you dont require an AC or a HT for the bangalore weather. I wonder though how you are going to escape the pollution!!

And one will have to sell oneself couple of times to pay the price. Too expensive man at that price esp for the limited usage i would have for a 4x4.

Thanks but No Frankie. I never got to complete DwArF build the way I wanted, this decision was made due to some complex factors and no more builds for some time to come.
