Why the stickers on the dash? Looks quite tacky if you ask me. Infact why stickers at all? Personally I love a clean car.

The suspension is installed !! The Pajero handles like a dream, but frankly speaking visually - NO CHANGE - guess because my stock suspension was in perfect shape. So the stance is not really different to the eye. The handling & potholes are another story

Got pics but unable to load them on the home comp...will do so in the morning / afternoon.

Thanks Phil for the install & thanks Zac for the goodies & Rahul for the lead !!

Cheers

Great, congrats! Can you describe the changes a little more? What exactly has improved? Does the raised suspension have any negative impacts?

Thanks..the "body roll" in a Pajero is any which way very less compared to say a Scorpio. The compsure of the vehicle is way better. One can turn at greater speed than before without feeling iffy. Surprising but I feel the braking has improved too, though I see no reason why The suspension travel increase is helping go over large ditches without issues.

My stock suspension was in absolute perfect condition, so the difference is not as much as it would have been, had I put in Ironman on a weak suspension. The increase in height is not very evident for the same reason. After the vehicle runs about 500 kms I will have the suspension checked for settling etc.

Cheers

How about ride quality? Are the new springs stiffer than stock? Do you feel the bumps more now or is the ride more pliant?

Your car is in the classified? After all this super work you have done on it? Or have you got 2?

Ride is definately better. The suspension is surely stiffer than stock. The vehicle actually sails over pot holes if you are at a certain speed or above. If you crawl, you feel the bumps.

Bandhav, thanks for answering. Ya I have 2 Pajeros, the older one is up for sale. Even that is running new OE suspension BTW.

Thought that the older Paj was sold a while back... Guess it doesn't want to leave your garage - after all the love you have showered on her.

It indeed had - but the deal is taking way to long to come thru, hence the gentleman in question has given me a free hand to sell it if I want

Had an "experience" with the Ironman suspension & how it changes road behaviour of a vehicle.

A spanking new Honda City in front of me yesterday, going at around 50 kmph, suddenly braked to avoid an idiotic cab driver who decieded to cross over the central road divider to take a short cut.

I was right behind the Honda maybe 30-35 feet away, I braked & to avoid hitting the car had to swing my steering very very sharply, the tyres squealed, the body roll was WAY lesser than normal, the Pajero stuck to the road, no fishtailing, no nothing !! and I was parallel to the now stopped Honda...that is the kind of difference the suspension made.

Kudos to Ironman, saved my Pajero from rear ending the Honda.

Cheers
