Hey Navpreet !!

I like the way you put words together - using the word "interesting" instead of "nutcase"

Well, you only live once, so I try to live my passion, the only real one I have !!

Cheers

See how the import sits lower and has a meatier stance. I can't understand why the first thing any Indian manufacturer does is to lift the vehicle up! Acceptable with a low slung sedan, but not an SUV man!

Ricky : You are one crazy guy (in a nice way) for buying the 2nd Paj

appreciate your POV but actually in flesh, they both pretty much stand shoulder to shoulder

Thanks for being the second guy to call me "crazy"...

Man! if you remember me i am searching head on heels for one. And you go out and buy two of them one after the other.

The new one looks very tempting. I imagine what you have felt. Everything is so perfect, the color, the version, the model year.

Care to share with me through PM the damages to the pocket.

Thanks

Just discovered something that I had not noticed earlier. The new Pajero has small little fog lights (think projectors) built into the bumper !! Will check out the illumination at night !

The rear quarter panel is going to be painted the same Grey body colour, just don't like the white rear quarter

Updates will happen as & when I drive it..

Cheers

The car is surely tight. With just 33k on the odo, she feels & drives like a new vehicle. No rattles, great suspension, no squeaks.

Shall be getting all the lubes & filters changed today (just as a precaution)

Will also be changing the MRF's to Yokos & then as time permits put in the Audio from the older Pajero into the newer one. And then my friends - I am ready to roll !!

Cheers

All lubes and filters changed. The engine takes in 7.8 litres of oil !! Now that was news to me !! LOL

The gear box took 3.7 litres, center diff 2.15 litres, rear diff took 3.5+, front diff 1.15 _ That is a lot of oil - almost 20 litres of it !!

Now for the tyre change !! Phew

Cheers

That is a lot of oil.Imagine us over zealous owners planning a complete all oil change every 5000 kms and that too synthetic. It would not burn a hole in my pocket. My pocket would be fired at by a bazooka! haha

On another not what is the service interval for this kind of an oil change. And what interval do you plan to use?

Well, the oil change other than that of the engine is at a 50K interval. The engine oil I intend to change every 10K or so.

Audio Update.

The car came with a Kenwood 2 DIN HU with USB, AUX, CD Player, Blue Tooth, DVD (roof mounted) & Radio ofcourse. Finally had that sorted out as the phone connection was not happening.

So now I have a wonderful handsfree setup with amazing voice clarity. The Roof mounted Nippon DVD Player & Screen does a good job keeping the kids entertained.

Now I just need to have my Rainbow Audio 3 way components, Hertz Sub & Bull Amp moved to this car & voila !!!!!! All aspects of audio / entertainment & communication will be in place !!

Will post pics of the setup once done

Cheers
