Hey, congrats man. It has turned out really great. Looks the "real" thing now.
BTW, why don't you move the horns to some place else? Its kind of distracting from the all original look. Only my opinion though.

I need someone to help me with "cleaning the jet" process for the Solex carb.

Shubz,
The Jeep is indeed looking wonderful!! The color combination is great. +1 to shifting the horns. Is the right indicator glass broken? Maybe you need to change it as well.

Happy New Year Shubz!

Your Jeep looks good. One suggestion, adjust the front Blackout lights such that the Willys on the grill is visible completly also replace the Horns as suggested by others. This will add more looks to your Jeep.

Regards,
Karumbaiah

Thanks Doc! Yes the painter broke the indicator glass (Yes it is glass - not fiber/plastic) I am on the lookout for Glass ones again. Will be going to Delhi this weekend and try to get it from the same guy I bought from last time.

And I figured out how to clean the Jet. Cleaned both the jets but I have a confusion now! Well - a couple of them.

1) the main jet is NOT 115. it is something different, though SOLEX is imprinted on it.
2) After cleaning the jets - I was not able to set the idling with that pointed screw loaded on a spring. Had to adjust the other screw (lever like) for me to set the idling. Did not seem proper - smelling of fuel now but the ride is smooth and so is the idling.
3) ASAP - got to change the fuel filter to either Maruti Omni's Purolator or Esteems MPFI fuel filter (the one in a metallic casing)

Any suggestions? please

Aren't the main jets 140 originally in CJ3B? IIRC, it is but you can use upto 127.5 (thats what I have got) as per the experts. 115 would be too small.

Good stuff! So 140 aint wrong but sure runs very rich (making me poor) I can smell fuel!

Pavan Kadam has offerred to help with the 127.5 jet. Next in line will the fuel return line.

Edit: Fuel return line plan shelved for now
