Congrats Rahul on the Jeep-ceed
You've surely got a good deal and with the basic work that you've done on it, I am sure that the vehicle would serve you well.

The best thing that I love about Gypsy's which tends to sum up their character is that THEY ARE BORINGLY, RELIABLE
not my words but I read it somewhere on the forum itself.
Cheers Mate and happy jeeping

Pavan Sir problem is my wifey does not wants it to be looking like every gypsy in town. Had it been my thing, I might have bought home a CJ3B instead of Gypsy.

Personally give me anything in shade of Black!!

One way to make it girly would be to have an all-white gypsy, with pink highlights here n there - for example, pink rollcage (external), pink wheel stripes, maybe a pinkbull bar, door handles, and so on..
This idea needs more work, but I think it's worth exploring!

Wink Re: Got Bohemian (GYPSY) - What should be the color?

congrats rahul!

here is a color scheme i am think of, but before that you need a hardtop -

keep it purple, a lighter shade. if you want pink, get the lip of wheel rims, front grill maybe the side beading in pink. add some cute and basic flowers to it. there is a rally prepped gypsy with flowers, searched a bit and found this for you -

^ Maybe if the rest of the car were white, it'd look good.. But to me, right now, it doesn't seem that appealling!
Sorry
(i know its not your vehicle, just saying!)

PINK is more of gay colour these days, not to be confused as a feminine colour!

the gypsy could be any colour and still look feminish, it all depends upon how you accessorise it!

a pink H2 would not make it feminine, it would make it look GAY!

a sporty red would look good on the gypsy for your wife to drive around or a soft yellow or green.

keeping it white and adding few decals of flowers here and there would make it look girlish!

PS: add eye lashes to the headllights if you want it to look feminish!

I second this suggestion.

White with pink fenders is surely looking feminine and decent. And it is surely NOT looking gay-ish.

Congrats on the Gypsy however i too feel pink is more gayish nowadays. Parm's pic looks more like what you want it to be.

@Harjeev, 'Boringly Reliable' was used by Jaggu when i got my gypsy and its true.

IMHO a yellow should do well for your need. There are various hues of yellow that you can experiment with & come to a conclusion.

If you or your wife are hell bent on "pink" why not the Zen Estillo PINK ?? Being metallic it will not look that gay on a Gypsy !! Let the wheels / grille be graphite grey. That should do it..hope this helps

Cheers

Pink and dark grey works well!
Good suggestion.

And yes, even the white base, with pink accents will look nice. you could go for a pearl/diamondy white.. you know, the kind which glitters a bit in sunlight.

White with pink or White with pink flowers around the sides and a pink interior would be girly. Hope you are never going to be driving it. Personally I would keep it stock

I really like the color combination in this picture posted my Parm. Looks classy and feminine. Additionally if ever you wanted to convert back, it would be an easy job.
Cheers

Even I like the one Param has posted White with Pink Bumper and Fenders.

If I were to get one made for my wife it would have been Black and Red Combination. Her Fav.
