If you are ready to wait for another 2 months then Vdi with ABS would be a better option. Believe me ABS is really helpful on our highways, even i had opted for ABS on my Swift Vxi.
By the way if you want Vdi ABS you can add another 20K which will be 32K + 20K more than Ldi but it is worth the extra money you spend and you wont regret later like few of my friends did after buying Swift Lxi.
I know that most of the features in Vdi can be fitted later on a Ldi but again you will end up spending more and you will not have the feel of an OE.
