Instead of buying a new car I would like to get padmini body+chassis and put a new engine(available in indian market) in it. this car is for daily use on urban roads.

so what engine will fit into its bay?

have 2 engines on my list
1. honda city
2. santro xing

is there a better engine that will be a direct fit?
