I guess we are all going thru exactly the same problem. Entered the Santro yesterday to find the entire front left matting floating in water with the carpet soaked. Fortunately the drivers side and the rear got saved. Identified the problem this morning.
The car is parked under a tree and the drain holes were blocked with leaves, muck and dirt. Car is still at the garage to check for any more leaks. Had to remove the full carpet to dry out.
