Had this in my old Ford Escort. There was a shelf below the wiper that contains the a/c condenser or something. This had developed minute pin holes that drained directly to the cabin. Never managed to solve the problem, it needed major welding and re-painting. I would just remove the carpets for the monsoon and replace them in October.
