This is serious. If you have paid 23K your policy should show premium amount as 23K. As said earlier, show them the bank statemant. If you have paid more, they will have to refund the money. They may tell you that the excess will be adjusted in your renewal premium, but insist on a refund. If they still deny, then lodge a complaint with Insurance Ombudsman.
