Hello Again Guys,

Reading almost all the messages in T-BHP and now my wife & SIL thinks I am quite a car geek.

Am going to get the delivery tomorrow or day after for my petra. Its got 175/65/14 as stock which I want to upgrade to a wider set.

Rehan had suggested a dealer to me but those guys are in town where as I stay in Kandivali.

These tyres would be fitted on 14" alloys

I have looked at OD (Rolling Radius) stuff and these are my findings

175 65 291.55 DIFFERENCE
185 50 270.3 -21.25
185 55 279.55 -12
185 60 288.8 -2.75
185 65 298.05 6.5
185 70 307.3 15.75
195 50 275.3 -16.25
195 55 285.05 -6.5
195 60 294.8 3.25
195 65 304.55 13
195 70 314.3 22.75
205 50 280.3 -11.25
205 55 290.55 -1
205 60 300.8 9.25
205 65 311.05 19.5
205 70 321.3 29.75

It looks that following tyres best fit:
185 60 288.8 -2.75 mm
195 60 294.8 3.25 mm
205 55 290.55 -1 mm

205 looks really tempting but will it affect the ride quality?. How about 195 then?

Pls advise.

Also what brand of tyres should I go in for. The dealer I have found is recommending 185/60 Acceler. He is quoting 800.00/tyre in exchnage. For F1 185/60 his quote is 500.00.
