Like my Fiat, a small update to show the progress of the Merc.
Heres the rear which has beared the Cut and Paste job done. The rotten metal was replaced here. One can see the welding lines. The corroded and eaten away collor of the rear windscreen frame has been fabricated and is awaiting replacement 
The front fender which was quite badly corroded as can be seen in previous posts, was finally fixed and put back. 
The fire-wall was corroded inside, from the fender onwards.
The corrosion hidden behind the friewall insulation was also taken care of. 
The flooring was not as bad as expected. The front passenger flooring (its a LHD) and the rear left side was what needed immediate care. The bad metal was removed and replaced with new metal as it can be seen. Note the Welding marks on the wheel well 
Of course this is just the beginning. The finishing in and around the area is yet to be done and probably has been done by this time. These pics are a few days old. Then the car will go through the "Wurth" treatment..after all its Wurth it na?
More updates re the colour (Prussian Metallic Blue or Non Metallic Midnite Blue), etc are being finalised at the moment. Will need all the help I can from you guys.
