Friends,

I had got my exhaust redone recently and since then i see the 'malfunction lamp' glowing while driving.

There is NO noticeable difference in driving handling, FE etc.. just that light irritates. On reading about it, came to know that it is linked to the catalytic convertor thing.

Now what to do about it? What could be wrong here?

- Is there some part in the exhaust that connects to the senor? - Some wiring? How to check?

- Could the sensor be gone? If yes, where to get one and what cost?

- What about disabling the lamp itself? what could be the risk?

[I plan to go for either the FFE or just Headers/Expansion Chamber for more low end torque. So should i just ignore this.???]
