more than the speed limiter, i think what would help is teaching the drivers a little road sense. you also have the menace of drinking and driveing that goes on due to the long hours spent on the road. the drivers also should be taught how to respect others on the road even though they are smaller in size.
with the unions not takeing a likeing to this new rule i doubt that all the trucks and busses would get fitted with speed limiters. this would only mean more fuel being burnt and longer time spent on the road by the drivers. this is not a good thing for the transporters and truck owners. am sure they would come up with some way to get around this new rule.
