Actually mostly I have seen "Smaller vehicle sympathy" more than lady sympathy.
The guy in the smaller vehicle is never at fault.
In this case more than lady sympathy it was the owners anguish at having his car damaged. Even if a Polar bear had been driving the other car with a blindfold on, the driver would have been thrashed.
