The question here is do authorized service centers know about this problem and are there any authorized service centers knowingly passing on these fake parts to Indian customers.

Mercedes in US may have identified the problem and addressed it, but how do we say that same measures are taken in India given the easy accessibility to these parts and absence of an effective legal mechanism to prevent this.
