Ya Riju, I did take the Virajpet route last time around as the Kushalnagar route was indeed very bad last year (I returned through this route). I took Kushalnagar this time as I heard about the road upgradation and also the guy who booked the resort told me that the road is fine...
Yes, the road is good till Kushalnagar...another 6 months probably, road till Madikeri should be very good...
