Hyundai is royally messing up their opportunities. They had a clear advantage years back when they launched Getz. They let it squander away by not launching the diesel version in time. They could have recouped that in 1 stroke if they had launched the diesel when Swift Petrol was launched. It could have possibly taken some steam out of Maruti. They let it slip again. Now Diesel Swift is a runaway winner and there are others coming its way. If my logic and Market sense is right, Getz will be dead in another year in the face of new and MORE CONTEMPORARY competition. With new brands like Skoda and new models from almost everyone from TATA to FIAT , Getz is going to lose whatever small steady fan following it has.
