Before you laugh at a Cielo, I suggest you drive a well maintained Cielo. I know it's a rare species these days with Daewoo having shut down 5 years ago but if you do then you would know that it blows most sedans into weeds including Lancers, Accents, OHCs and NHCs ( except VTECs ). And yes, Baleno can beat Cielo. Also it has the reasping exhaust note which no other Indian car has. IMO, if you want to do a muscle car a la Americans, Cielo, which you can pick up dirt cheap will provide a perfect canvass for modifications. Shiploads of Cielo Parts are still available even in Chennai.
