I had been to Paris less than a month after the crash. A momument (in the shape of a flame,if I recollect right) near the tunnel was dedicated to her. Lots of flowers & condolence cards were placed at the foot of the monument. Everyone stood around the over-pass,trying to look into the tunnel.
