Great, Sanjeev, thanks for the clarification. I have had a bad experience with NH16 that runs from Armur (beyond Nizamabad) towards Mancheral - many maps show this highway to run uninterrupted via Chinnur through Jagdalpur (Chattisgarh) to Vijayanagaram and Vizag. relaity is I the road ends at Chinnur and there is no bridge across the River Godavari!! I had to cancel my trip and turn to Ramagundam and drive to Hyderabad instead of to Vizag (I had some work near Bobbili).

I have never been to Basar, and when I referred my district maps, I found that Basar was in the other bank of Godavari in Adilabad District, hence the doubt.

While on NH16, do you know whether the bridge across Godavari at Chinnur is now complete (was under construction 2 years ago).
