yes the carpet mats are standard with the Civic and are of a very good quality. The back seat mats are of one single piece. So its easy to remove and clean.
But if you have bad and/or muddy roads (like bangalore now with all the rains) then rubber mats will save you a lot of effort. I clean my car and so find it easier to clean the rubber mats. Come summer and I'll stow them away.
