@Anju - The Getz is undertyred and to get the maximum benefit out of the engine it is advised to change the tyres to a wider size.
195/60R14 will help improve the braking of the Getz as well as the handling and looks.
This means that the car will not skid as much as it would on normal tyres, would look better and would be more stable at high speeds and would corner better as well.
Ride would not be affected too much if you get good tyres such as the Yokohama S drives or Michelin Energy XM1. Infact, it may improve depending on the tyre.
There will however, be a reduction in the FE of the car but however this reduction will not be much and will barely be 0.1kmpl or something similar.
Also, you should be able to get the whole deal in under 25K including tyres and good alloy wheels. Alloys should be approx 15K +-1.5K and the rest on tyres depending on how much you get for your current tyres and the brand of tyres you buy.
