Yup! It is a nice car, and overall a good package.
BUT, i somehow felt Getz was slightly ahead. Some areas i think getz wins over the U-VA.
- Engine Response. (Although U-VA might have outright power when revved).
- Gearshift. (may be, it was just the car i TD'ed. but the U-VA shift was the worst i have come across. And i drive a WagonR. So, if i say its real bad, you can imagine)
- Service and resale value.
- Nice and airy interiors. Beige interiors help a lot compared to the grey dashboard of the U-VA. Considering that both the U-VA and Getz have the biggest dash boards among Indian cars, this does help on the Getz.
On the other hand, U-VA looked bigger and better, and build quality felt better and quality of materials felt better too.

Its slightly over the budget and highway use is not too important. Infact, running wont be too high. Thats why no diesels on the list either.
Mileage though sounds a bit low. However, understandable since the Santro engine has to pull a heavier car. This 11 is with ac? City?
