i just thought that it would be a good idea to share our experiences with various brands.
please
"title" the brand of speaker and the model you are writing about. this will make it easier for users searching for info.
or should we have subthreads for each brand? mods, i dunno.
rules:
1. please do not generalise your statements or play with statistics. only mention
your own listening experience of what you have in your car, what you like about it and what you don't, tonal qualities, kind of music you listen to etc etc.
2. avoid comparisons with other brands of speakers unless you have different ICE setups in your own cars. or have closely listened to friend's, other setups.
3. yes, there are a hundred thousand things that go into ICE, however for this thread, let's focus our discussion only to speakers. if you wish you may compare same speakers with different amps, different HUs etc, different placements, different dampings, different cars.
4. mention ICE setup, speakers models and prices you bought them for so that they serve as a guide to anyone who follows.
5. co-axials, components, drivers, tweeters only. there's a separate thread for subwoofers. if you may wish to write here, you may do so. if you have special subs with special power and capabilities, you'd rather post on the subwoofer review.
