Hi everyone,

I first heard of this site in an auto magazine on an award that you guys recieved....forgot what that was but congrats all the same!! So i thought i'd have a look and reading a couple of posts had me hooked and here i am as a new member.

basically i belong to the vast legion of software engineers in India. I work in one of the southern most part of the country, Trivandrum, Kerala. Well my friends tell me that if a great car and a beautiful lady walk past me...chances are i'll be staring at the car...well now i'll tell them to take a look at a couple of postings on this site!!

Well my wheels is a Maruti 800 MPFI 5 speed.......i like to call it a giant killer!!:-)..40,000 odd kms later it's performance still puts a smile on my face....but the brakes still give me heart attacks!!.....anybody else has such an opinion on this model..it's a shame that they phased it out!!
