The U.S. Army Humvee has sealed electronics. I have seen it ford streams with water up to the windshield. I do not know about the H2 civilian "wannabe" (want to be).
But the other thing about the humvee, it ain't light. Could be the AWD, weight distribution, electronic slip sensors and tires are so good it just does not matter in this case.
