A friend of mine (the chap who was looking for a 1962 Mk 1) has a Sidevalve engine. I guess when he finds his Mk1 I may be able to swap the OHV for the Sidevalve, but the OHV is so quiet and smooth that I really dont want to give it away.

The reason for putting in the Isuzu is that the car will be a DAILY DRIVE for my dad. Therefore it will feature original exteriors but modern comforts, mechanicals and running gear to ensure reliability and usability. The original engine will never be able to drive an A/c.

I will keep the originals for later - just in case I decide to redo it back to stock specs.
