i am no ICE guru, but that's a pretty low budget for a car like civic, i too started off with a budget of 25k and now it has exceeded 50k. but, anyways, in 10k you should first get a good set of 6.5" components for the front (try jbl or hertz deici) and 6.5"coaxials for the rear, again JBL or hertz. you would be pretty satisfied with this upgrade. but, one thing for sure the stock HU wouldn't do justice to the upagraded speakers without an amp.
